Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian).
Discussion. When this species was reported, its type locality was given as Qingliangfeng of Zhejiang and the specimens were adults. Microtachycines fallax Qin et al., 2017 was also reported at the same time, its type locality, Jiugongshan and Wujiashan, Hubei, but the specimens were nymphs. More specimens have been collected from above two type localities recent years, diagnostic characters i.e. male genitalia and female subgenital plate of adult individuals from Jiugongshan of Hubei are same with Microtachycines elongatus Qin et al., 2017 , other descriptions are almost identical.Another important point deserves to be mentioned is that characters of nymph individuals from Qingliangfeng of Zhejiang ( Fig. 7c, 7d View FIGURES 1–8 ) is same as M. fallax from Wujiashan of Hubei ( Figs. 7a, 7b View FIGURES 1–8 ) when reported. In conclusion, we consider that M. fallax can be considered as a synonym of M. elongatus . Up to now, species Microtachycines elongatus Qin, Liu & Li, 2017 possesses an extensive distribution, including Zhejiang (Qingliangfeng, Tianmushan, Gutianshan), Hubei (Jiugongshan, Wujiashan), Fujian (Wuyishan), Jiangxi (Sanqingshan).
