Microryzomys Thomas 1917

The genus Microryzomys comprises two species, M. altissimus (Osgood 1933) , and M. minutus (Tomes 1860) . These species were endemic to the northern and central Andes, from northern Venezuela, through Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, to central Bolivia ( Carleton & Musser 1989; Carleton 2015).
