Remarks. Mimela linpingi was denoted to be discovered in China (Yunnan) and Laos (Li et al. 2013; Prokofiev & Zorn 2016) outside Thailand. Exact collecting data for Chinese specimens are herein cited for the first time. This species was acquired from Nansonghe River, about 80 km northeastern to Nangunhe River, where its close relative, M. prodigiosa new species was collected. Both rivers are within the range of Lincang City.
Distribution. China: Yunnan; Laos: Bokeo; Thailand: Chiang Mai, Phechabun*.
