Camptotypus View in CoL View at ENA genus-group
The Camptotypus genus-group was very scarcely represented in Mexico till now with only three genera with one species in each genus: Clydonium quintanillai Gauld , Odontopimpla fasciata (Brullé) and Zonopimpla atriceps (Cresson) ( Ruíz-Cancino et al. 2002; Yu et al. 2016). In this paper, we describe from Mexico one new species of Clydonium and four species of Zonopimpla , and newly record from Mexico two species of Clydonium and two species of Zonopimpla . The number of known Mexican species of the Camptotypus genus-group is raised from 3 to 12, or four times.
Key to genera occurring in Mexico
1. Hind femur with a stout median ventral tooth ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 6–9 ). Upper valve of ovipositor apically stouter, not enclosed by lower valve ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 6–9 ).................................................................................. Odontopimpla View in CoL
- Hind femur unspecialized, without ventral tooth. Upper valve of ovipositor apically either partially enclosed by lower valve, or more slender than the lower valve........................................................................ 2
2. Tergite 2 anteriorly with weak or strong median concavity ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 6–9 ). Lower valve of ovipositor apically bearing small scabrous area or areas just proximal to basal tooth ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1–5 , arrow). Lower end of occipital carina distinct, joining hypostomal carina.............................................................................................. Clydonium View in CoL
- Tergite 2 anteriorly without a median concavity. Lower valve of ovipositor without a scabrous area proximal to basal tooth. Occipital carina entirely absent................................................................. Zonopimpla View in CoL
