Distribution. Mexico (Chiapas), Costa Rica. First record from Mexico.
Biology. Reared from the coocon of Meskea horror (Dyar) [written as “ Horror meskea ” in Gauld 1991 and Gauld et al. 1998] ( Lepidoptera : Thyrididae ) in gall on a low woody shrub, Sida sp. (Malvaceae) in Costa Rica ( Gauld 1991; Gauld et al. 1998).
