Note: The species Scybalicus oblongiusculus (Dejean, 1829) , was cited from Bojnourd (Prov. of North Khorasan), by Ghahari & Kesdek (2012), but according to Kataev & Wrase (2003) it is distributed in the West Palearctic region: Algeria, Great Britain, Italy, Malta, Spain and Tunisia. Therefore, its citation from Iran is possibly based on wrongly identified specimens. The species should be removed from Iranian fauna.
