BIOCAL, stn DW37, 22°55.99’S, 167°15.65’E, 350 m, 30.VIII.1985, 2 males, 3 females (1 ov) (MNHN-NA 11982).—MUSORSTOM 4, stn DW222, 22°57.6’S, 167°33.0’E, 410–440 m, 30.IX.1985, 1 female ov., in Crathrochone clathroclada (MNHN-NA 16326).—MUSORSTOM 4, stn DW226, 22°47.2’S, 167°21.6’E, 395 m, 30.IX.1985, 1 male (MNHN-NA 16327).—CHALCAL 2, stn CP27, 23o15.29’S, 168o04.55’E, 289 m, 4 males, 1 female ov. (MNHN-NA 16328).— SMIB 5, stn DW97, Azteque Bank, 23°01.1’S, 168°18.0’E, 300 m, 14.IX.1989, 1 male, 1 female (MNHN-NA 11967).— SMIB 5, stn DW102, Norfolk Ridge, 23°19.6’S, 168°04.7’E, 290–305 m, 14.IX.1989, 1 male (MNHN-NA 11966).— Loyalty Islands. MUSORSTOM 6, stn CP401, 20°42.15’E, 167°00.35’E, 270 m, 14.II.1989, 1 female ov. (MNHN-NA 11964).

Measurements (mm). Females, PCL: 3.5–5.2; RCL: 5.2–6.3; TL: 12.3–15.0. Males, PCL: 2.7–4.7; RCL: 4.1– 6.6; TL: 9.4–14.2. Eggs few in number (5–33); those in early stages of development averaged 0.10 × 0.13, those in late stages of development averaged 0.70 × 0.83.

Distribution. Philippines, Madagascar, Indonesia, Loyalty Islands, and New Caledonia.

Coloration. Unknown.

Hosts. A mated pair taken during MUSORSTOM 4 was associated with the sponge Crathrochone clathrocalda.

Remarks. This species was thoroughly described by Saito & Komai (2008) and is not redescribed here. Some differences shown in this report is an occasional ventral rostral spine ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 A, 2B) and variation in the spination of the third maxilliped ( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 F, G). Saito & Komai (2008) also reported on additional specimens of this species from New Caledonia (Matthew and Hunter Islands, Azteque Bank, Norfolk Ridge, Jumeau Banc, and Banc Brachiopode).
