Holotypus ♁ Turkey, Prov. Tunceli, Ovacık , 1200 m, mid vii.1982, leg. Arnscheid. The holotype is deposited in SMNK .

Paratypes: 4 ♁ same data as holotype; 6 ♁ Turkey, Pr. Kars, Arac-Tal , 1700 m, 7 km SE Karakurt, 9.ix.1985, LF, leg. H. Hacker ; 1 ♁ Turkey, Pr. Hakkari, Sat Dag, Varegös , SW Yüksekova, 1700 m, 4–8.viii.1983, leg. W. Schacht ( CWA, ZSM, SMNK) .

Etymology. The species is named after its origin, the peninsula Anatolia.

Diagnosis. This very characteristic species cannot be confused with any other species of the mentioned area. It differs from all other Oiketicoides species by its partially hyaline areas of all wings.

Description. Head. Frons and vertex are densely covered with light brown hair. Eyes EI 1.0. Antennae of nearly half forewing length, with very long and widely separated pecten and 28–30 segments.

Thorax. Wings. Wingspan 19–20 mm, forewing length 9–10 mm, FI 1.9. Forewings nearly triangular, costal margin slightly convex. Apex pointed, termen oblique, posterior margin straight. Very weak covered with very long, thin dark greyish brown hair-like scales, partially hyaline in the central areas of forewing and hindwing, distinctly denser covered along the costal margin, termen and outer margin. A very characteristic species which cannot confused with any other of the mentioned area. Abdomen. Protruding distinctly the hindwings, conical and densely covered with yellowish-grey hair.

Male genitalia. GP 4162 (fig. 48), 4163 ( Fig. 49 View FIGURES 42–49. 42 ). Long and slender in general appearance. Tegumen and vinculum less triangular, at the vinculum the lobes laterally hardly visible. Valvae slender, the clasper of the sacculus distinctly sclerotized and distally covered with 5–6 short spines. Saccus lobe shaped.

Female. Unknown. Larval case. Unknown.

Distribution. Widespread in East Anatolia.
