F, same, anterior view. G, same, ventral view. H, internal genitalia, ventral view, transmitted light image, clove oil immersion. Abbreviations: Gap, globular appendix, PSc, paddle-like sclerite, Re, receptaculum.
Diagnosis. Males and females are close to C. longisetosa sp. nov. and C. zero sp. nov. by the shape of supra pedicelar ridge bearing two large teeth-like downwards projected processes ( Figs 32A View FIGURES 32 , 34F); differs from the species above and from all other species of the group by the shape of the microsculpture of the sternum forming a coarse net pattern of deep grooves and without any punctuations, which are present in all other species of the group ( Figs 31E View FIGURES 31 ̅F, 33E̅F, 34B, 62D).
Description. Male ( PBI _OON 05528). Total length 1.71. CEPHALOTHORAX: Carapace orange-brown, broadly oval in dorsal view, pars cephalica strongly elevated in lateral view, surface of elevated portion of pars cephalica granulate, sides granulate; lateral margin without denticles. Clypeus straight in front view, high, ALE separated from edge of carapace by their radius or more, around ALE diameter. Eyes relatively large, all subequal; ALE separated by more than their diameter, PLE-PME separated by less than PME radius. Sternum orange-brown, fused to carapace, median concavity present, a small concave pit in posterior half of sternum, furrow wrinkled, surface coarsely reticulate by grooves, microsculpture only medially without punctuations, anterior margin with semicircular depression in the middle half, posterior margin not extending posteriorly of coxae IV, finely punctuate posteriorly and deep incised pattern at the front; much more evident as in female; setae originating from surface. Mouthparts: Chelicerae, endites and labium orange-brown. Chelicerae anterior face unmodified; retromargin without teeth; fangs without tooth-like projections; paturon inner margin with brush, laminate groove absent. Labium anterior margin indented at middle. Endites anteromedian part forming a groove between serrula and the apical portion. ABDOMEN: rounded posteriorly; dorsum soft portions pale white. Pedicel scuto-pedicel region with straight scutal ridge, plumose setae surrounding pedicel, scutal ridge small with two downwards projected denticles. Dorsal scutum orange-brown, middle surface granulate, sides granulate. Epigastric scutum anterior spiracles secondary openings at level of epigastric furrow in an indent forming independent apertures ( Fig. 31H View FIGURES 31 ). Postepigastric scutum orange-brown, almost semicircular, fused to epigastric scutum, without posteriorly directed lateral apodemes. Spinneret scutum large. LEGS: orange-brown. GENITALIA: Epigastric region with sperm pore circular, situated in front of anterior spiracles, rebordered. Palp proximal segments orange-brown. Conductor narrowing towards end, distal tip narrow and subdistally downwards curved with ventrally serrated distal tip ( Figs 32F View FIGURES 32 ̅G). Embolar tip bearing a triangular embolar distal process; embolar prolateral process long and narrow with translucent area dorsally serrated ( Figs 32G View FIGURES 32 ̅H, 33A̅B).
Female ( PBI _OON 05528). As in male except as noted. Total length 1.72. CEPHALOTHORAX: Sternum finely punctuate posteriorly and deep incised pattern at the front; not as evident as in male. Mouthparts: paturon inner margin with short inter-digitating setae. GENITALIA: internal genitalia large, subquadrate; lateral apodemes short and large rounded receptaculum (Fig. 34H).

Cinetomorpha angela (Chamberlin) , comb. nov.
Figuress 35A View FIGURES 35 ̅H
Yumates angela Chamberlin,1924 b:596 View in CoL , fig. 30 (Male holotype from Gulf of California,Angel de La Guarda Island (29°15’36”N 113°22’13”W), Mexico, Jun. 30, 1921, J.C. Chamberlin, deposited in CAS 1382; PBI_OON 38813, examined).
Diagnosis. Males of C. angela are similar to males C. nesophila comb. nov., C. baja sp. nov., C. laguna sp. nov. and C. sur sp. nov. in general appearance; differ from all these species in the shape of palp conductor bearing a blunt tip without any process ( Figs 35E View FIGURES 35 ̅H).
Note. The absence of a distal narrowed and sclerotized conductor tip inside this group as found in this species is unusual. However, considering that the holotype’s left palp is missing, the right palp images shows very similar features as represented by Chamberlin (1924). No additional males of this species were found. We suspect that the distal tip of the conductor could be broken ( Figs 35F, H View FIGURES 35 ). It is possible that the illustration supplied by Chamberlin (1924: 596, fig. 30) could be mistakenly interpreted, being indeed an image of the right palp in retrolateral position.
Description. Male ( PBI _OON 038813). Total length: 1.70. CEPHALOTHORAX: Carapace orange-brown, broadly oval in dorsal view, pars cephalica slightly elevated in lateral view, surface of elevated portion of pars cephalica granulate, sides granulate; lateral margin without denticles. Clypeus straight in front view, high, ALE separated from edge of carapace by their radius or more, twice ALE diameter. Eyes relatively small, all subequal; ALE separated by more than their diameter, PLE-PME separated by less than PME radius. Sternum orange-brown, fused to carapace, furrow wrinkled, surface finely punctuate, microsculpture only medially, anterior margin with continuous transverse groove, posterior margin not extending posteriorly of coxae IV; setae originating from surface. Mouthparts: Chelicerae, endites and labium orange-brown. Chelicerae anterior face unmodified; retromargin without teeth; fangs without tooth-like projections; paturon inner margin with brush, laminate groove absent. Labium anterior margin indented at middle. Endites anteromedian part forming a groove between serrula and the apical portion. ABDOMEN: rounded posteriorly; dorsum soft portions pale white. Book lung covers angular in ventral view. Pedicel scuto-pedicel region with straight scutal ridge, plumose setae dorsal and lateral of pedicel. Dorsal scutum orange-brown, middle surface granulate, sides granulate. Epigastric scutum anterior spiracles secondary openings at level of epigastric furrow in an indent. Postepigastric scutum orange-brown, almost semicircular, fused to epigastric scutum, without posteriorly directed lateral apodemes. Spinneret scutum large. LEGS: yellow-brown. GENITALIA: Epigastric region with sperm pore circular, situated in front of anterior spiracles, rebordered. Palp proximal segments orange-brown. Conductor narrowing towards end, distally stout; embolar tip with very short embolar distal process; embolar prolateral process filiform with narrow translucent distal area ( Figs 35E View FIGURES 35 ̅H).
Female. Unknown.
Other material examined. None.
Distribution. This species is only know from the type locality in the Gulf of Mexico.
