Geographical distribution: Brazil. Drake and Harris (1943) recorded the species from Panama, without giving details. This unexplained record was not repeated on Drake and Chapman (1958) checklist of American Hebridae , and is considered a mistaken citation for this reason.
Distribution in Brazil: Southeast Region (RJ) ( Stål 1860).
