Geographical distribution: Venezuela, Guyana, Brazil, Peru, and Bolivia.
Distribution in Brazil: North Region (PA) ( Hungerford 1929b; Polhemus & Spangler 1995).
Comments: Polhemus and Spangler (1995) recorded the species from AM, based on material collected by Dr. E. J. Fittkau in a locality with the code “A 88-1.” The location of this site has been checked on Dr. Fittkau’s field notes, and it is actually located on PA, not AM. The species is, therefore, not known from AM.
