Centrocorisa kollarii ( Fieber, 1851)
Geographical distribution: Mexico, Guatemala, Aruba, Colombia, Curaçao, Bonaire, Grenada, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina. Records from North America north of Mexico and the Caribbean Islands are due to misidentification.
Distribution in Brazil: Northeast and Southeast regions (PE, MG) ( Hungerford 1948; Vianna & Melo 2003; Melo & Nieser 2004).
Sigara Fabricius, 1775 View in CoL (9 species)
Comments: Sigara trimaculata (Le Gillou, 1841) is known from Chile and Argentina, and was recorded from Paraguay and the South Region (RS) of Brazil by Hungerford (1948). However, according to Bachmann (1981), records of this species from Brazil and Paraguay are based on females only and erroneous. This opinion is followed here, and S. trimaculata is not accounted for Brazil.
