Geographical distribution: Brazil.
Distribution in Brazil: Southeast and South regions (SP, RJ, PR, SC, RS) ( Nieser & López-Ruf 2001; Ribeiro et al. 2010).
Comments: Limnocoris pauper was recorded from “ Brésil Nord, Cumbase” by Montandon (1897). This locality is most probably located in Peru, San Martín Department, not in Brazil ( Takiya et al. 2003).
