Distribution in Brazil: North Region (AM) ( De Carlo 1967; Pereira & Melo 2007).
Comments: Nieser and López-Ruf (2001) associated De Carlos’ citation of “Barra do São Manoel” with MT, not AM. The material originally examined by De Carlo was collected by Dr. Sioli, and the locality above is specifically associated with AM in Sioli (2007).
