Ambrysus attenuatus Montandon, 1897 View in CoL
Geographical distribution: Brazil and Argentina.
Distribution in Brazil: Southeast Region (MG, RJ) ( Montandon 1897; Souza et al. 2006; López-Ruf & Hernández 2007; Ribeiro et al. 2010).
Comments: De Carlo (1950a) attributes Montandon’s (1897) citation of “Villa Rica, Brésil,” to the Paraguayan locality of Villarrica, Guairá. The correct locality is probably Villa Rica do Pilar, nowadays in the Municipality of Ouro Preto, MG, Brazil.
