Buenoa pallens (Champion, 1901) View in CoL
Geographical distribution: United States of America, Mexico, Guatemala, U. S. Virgin Islands, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Colombia, Grenada, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago, Panama, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile.
Distribution in Brazil: North, Central-West and Southeast regions (RR, GO, MG) ( Truxal 1953, 1957).
Comments: Truxal (1953) associated Ireng River with AM, but this river forms part of the border between Brazil and Guyana in the northeast portion of RR. Ireng (= Maú) River is part of the Amazon River Basin, but much before reaching AM it joins the Tacutu (= Itacutu) River, which in its turn joins the Uraricoera River, forming the Branco River.
