( Figs 18–25)

Sakencyrtus albiclavus Hayat, in Hayat et al., 2008: 109 . Female. Holotype female, India, Aligarh (NPC), not examined.

Female (brachypterous) (redescription). Length 1.07 mm. Head golden yellow. Antennal radicle and scape pale yellow, the later becoming white distally; pedicel and F1–F5 dark brown; F5 apically whitish; F6 and clava white. Mesosoma yellow; pronotum with a median brown streak in anterior half; mesoscutum largely white except medially; scutellum pale brown on sides and with a brown streak in anterior half; propodeum with a median brown streak; metasoma yellow, with dark brown with light metallic bronzy violet shine on sides of TI–TVI and adjacent to cercal plates. Forewing shortened and hyaline ( Fig. 20). Legs, including coxae, yellow, with faint pale brown suffusion along margins of femora; tarsi of fore leg brown.

Head ( Fig. 18), in frontal view, 1.14× as broad as high; frontovertex width 0.45× head width; eye height 4.14× as long as malar space. Maxillary palp 3-segmented; labial palp 2-segmented. Antenna ( Fig. 19) with scape long, flattened in basal half, 5.25× as long as broad; pedicle 1.71× as long as broad, distinctly longer than all funicular segments individually; F1 and F2 slightly longer than broad; F3 and F4 slightly transverse; F5 and F6 quadrate; clava 3-segmented, 3× as long as broad, subequal to preceding three funicular segments combined. Relative measurements (from slide, at 100×): head frontal height (width), 40 (35); frontovertex width, 18; mouth fossa width, 12; torulus length (diameter), 4 (2.5); inter-torular distance, 7; eye height, 29; malar space, 7; antennal segments length (width): scape, 21 (4); pedicel, 6 (3.5); F1, 4 (3.5); F2, 4 (4); F3, 4 (4.5); F4, 4 (5); F5, 4 (5); F6, 4 (5); clava, 15 (5).

Mesosoma ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 22–25 ). Pronotum 0.5× length of mesoscutum, with polygonal transversely elongate cells; mesoscutum 1.4× as broad as long, setose with scaly polygonal reticulate sculpture ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 22–25 ) and, with notauli curved in anterior third; axillae with sculpture same as on mesoscutum; scutellum ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 22–25 ) with elongate reticulate sculpture; propodeum 0.64× scutellum length. Forewing ( Fig. 20) 3.8× as long as broad, venation not reaching the anterior wing margin, disc beyond venation gradually narrowed to a pointed apex. Hindwing ( Fig. 21) boat shaped, 4× as long as broad. Mid tibia 6.6× as long as mid basitarsus; mid tibial spur subequal to mid basitarsus. Relative measurements (from slide, at 100×): mesosoma length, 55; pronotum length (width), 8 (26); mesoscutum length (width), 16 (23); scutellum length (width), 17 (12); propodeum median length, 11; forewing length (width), 31 (8); mid tibia length, 33; mid basitarsus length, 5; mid tibial spur length, 6.

Metasoma. Ovipositor ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 22–25 ) 0.90× mid tibia length. Relative measurements (from slide, at 100×): Ovipositor length, 30.

Type material examined. Paratype, ♀ (on slide, under 4 coverslips, slide No. EH.1119), INDIA: HIMACHAL PRADESH; Anu Kalan , 1.vii.2006, Coll. S.M.A. Badruddin and F.R. Khan. ( ZDAMU, registration No. HYM. CH.562).

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. India: Himachal Pradesh.

Comments. The redescription of Sakencyrtus albiclavus Hayat is based on examination of paratype housed in ZDAMU and on original description given by Hayat (in Hayat, et al., 2008). S. albiclavus differs from S. mirus mainly by the following characters: frontovertex width 0.45× head width; maxillary palp 3-segmented, labial palp 2-segmented; radicle and scape pale yellow, the later becoming white distally; pedicel F1–F5 dark brown; F6 and clava white; flagellum with almost uniform width of funicle, clava normal with apex rounded. In S. mirus : frontovertex width 0.36× head width; maxillary palp 4-segmented, labial palp 3-segmented; radicle and scape yellow, apex of scape, and flagellum dark brown; F2–F6 broader than long, clava obliquely truncate. This species also comes out close to S. bialbifuniculus sp. nov. but differs by the characters given under the comments of S. bialbifuniculus sp. nov.
