Material examined. Ƥ, Malaysia, Pahang, 22–26. XII. 1958, L. W. Quate.
Diagnosis. This is the most plesiomorphic species in having the dark coloration and characteristic structure of the male genitalia as mentioned in the key ( Sasakawa 1966: fig. 1). Additional characters are as follow: M1 ratio 4.0; fore tarsomeres compressed; surstylus with five apical spinules.
Distribution. Vietnam, Malaysia (Peninsular, new record).
