Lectotype (designated here): — BRAZIL. Pará: Rio Trombetas , Lago Salgado , 26 Aug 1910, A. Ducke s.n. [A. Ducke [22456]] ( RB [barcode 00535080 !]; isolectotypes: K [barcode K000587689 image!], U [barcode U0000479 image!], US [barcode 00111815 image!]) .
Notes — Markgraf (1935a) indicated the gathering “Ducke n. 22456” (Ducke s.n., herbarium RB No. 22456) in the prologue of A. salgadense but did not cite in which herbarium the type would be deposited. Thus, we chose as the lectotype of A. salgadense a specimen from this collection of a Brazilian herbarium (RB barcode 00535080) (ICN article 9.3; Turland et al. 2018).
