Records from Turkey: Eastern Anatolia (“ Limnesia tuberculata ” Özkan 1982); Denizli Province ( Özkan & Boyacı 1990a); Elazıġ Province (Erman & Özkan 2000).

Habitat: Weakly seeping helocrenes, with full exposure to sunlight. Distribution: Mediterranean, Poland, Russia.
