Distribution: India (Kashmir); France; Austria; Germany; Italy; Romania; Slovenia; Spain; Switzerland; Russia; Mongolia; Iran; India; Central Asia ( Razowski 1965, 2002; Alipanah 2019).
Hosts: Reported larval hosts include Astrantia sp. ( Apiaceae ), Carlina acaulis , Centaurea sp., Cirsium spinosissimum (Asteraceae) , Sedum sp., Sempervivum montanum (Crassulaceae) , Anthyllis vulneraria , and Trifolium alpinum (Fabaceae) ( Balmer 1982; Brown et al. 2008).
