Distribution: India (North); Europe; Japan; Korea; Russia ( Byun et al. 1998)
Host: Larvae of this species feed on the leaves and shoots of Hedera (Araliaceae) , Lonicera (Caprifoliaceae) , Quercus (Fagaceae) , Origanum (Lamiaceae) , Thalictrum (Ranunculaceae) , Rubus , Sanguisorba (Rosaceae) , Dictamnus (Rutaceae) , Urtica (Urticaceae) , and Valeriana (Valerianaceae) ( Fletcher 1921; Bradley et al. 1973; Yasuda 1975; Byun et al. 1998; Sohn 2002).
