Comments. Males of T. intricata are recognized by a cone-shaped, slightly curved gonostylus, and ejaculatory apodeme as long as the gonostylus. The description of Quate (1996) does not mention the degree of sclerotization of the gonostylus, but according to the drawing provided and similarities of other structures of the male terminalia with species of the proposed subgenus, this species should be included in the styloryncha group.
