Comments. Males of Trichomyia danieli are recognized by two arm of gonocoxite, both with elongated apical bristles; hypoproct with pointed apex and ejaculatory apodeme long, 1.5 times the length of gonocoxite. Material examined. Brazil, Bahia: Serra da Jibóia, holotype ♂, 16.III.2001, I. Castro & I. Soares leg. (MZFS). Distribution. Brazil—Bahia.
