Apanteles usipetes Nixon, 1965: 81 View in CoL . Holotype ♀ — Sabah, Malaysia [USNM].
Diagnosis. The transverse tangent to anterior ocellus virtually touching posterior ocelli; edge of vannal lobe beyond its widest point not concave and with at most a few hardly visible, slightly projecting hairs; eyes large, close together on face; penultimate flagellomere hardly one and a quarter times longer than wide; hind femur dingy yellow; vertex around ocelli highly polished; face smooth, shiny; punctations of mesoscutum tending to disappear posteriorly; punctures on posterior half larger and further apart than those in front, no trace of striate-punctation at posterior end of notaulic course; mesopleuron with distinctly discrete sternaulus, weakly roughened; ovipositor sheath about one and a quarter times longer than hind tibia, hairs upstanding; metacarp fully 7.0 as long as its distance from apex of marginal cell.
