Diagnosis: Following Kuznetzov (1994), this species can be recognized by the shape of surstyli in dorsal view, broadened and angled at base, pointed at apices ( Majnon-Jahromi et al. 2017b: Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 ); both surstyli rounded apically, with a distinct posteroventral projection before its apex in lateral view ( Kuznetzov, 1994: Figs 302–303). Tomosvaryella urdaensis appears to be closely related to T. gazliensis ( Fig. 15A–D View FIGURE 15 ). See diagnosis of T. gazliensis for more details.
