Material examined. 1 male (NKU: I2B36), CHINA: Zhejiang Province, Quzhou City, Qujiang District, Wuxi River , 118°50′10″E, 28°42′31″N, a.s.l. 137 m, 19.IV.2011, sweep net, Xiao-Long Lin GoogleMaps .

Diagnostic characters. The male imago is characterized by having an antenna with eleven flagellomeres, AR 0.71; Lengths and proportions of legs remeasured based on collected material from Zhejiang Province as provided in Table 6. Superior volsella developed, and anteromedially fused. Inferior volsella become vestigial, like rounded corner, along the inner margin of gonocoxite and placed basally. Phallapodeme scalpel-like, distinctly curved, 48 µm long, without obvious projection, and joint with sternapodeme placed caudally. Transverse sternapodeme thick and developed, 38 µm long. Lateral sternapodeme with very large and developed attachment point, and attachment point placed and directed caudally. Gonostylus relatively long, and apex curved, 43 µm long; megaseta 5 µm long. HR 2.28; HV 3.71.

Distribution: Japan; Russia Far East; China.

Remarks. The Chinese specimen has a higher transverse sternapodeme and more narrowed inferior volsella compared with the original description. Other features are so similar that they are identified as the same species.
