Diagnosis. This species is similar to L. amurense (Vachal) from eastern Asia and L. quadrinotatulum (Schenck) from Europe to eastern Asia. It is separated from these species by a combination of following character states: female mesoscutum with sparser PP (IS = 6 d in maximum); male F3 length/width ratio 1.2; male S2–S3 normal; gonocoxite of male genitalia not densely haired; and gonostylus of male genitalia basally narrow and apically expanded, and without basomedial projection. In contrast, in L. amurense , female mesoscutum with denser PP (IS = 3 d in maximum), male F3 length/width ratio 1.6, the male S2–S3 tuberculate, gonocoxite of male genitalia densely haired, and gonostylus of male genitalia slender and parallel-sided, and with basomedial projection; in L. quadrinotatulum , female mesoscutum with denser PP (IS = 4 d in maximum), male F3 length/width ratio 1.5, male S2–S3 normal, gonocoxite of male genitalia not densely haired, and shape of gonostylus of male genitalia similar to L. sakagamii , but with basomedial projection ( Sakagami et al. 1982).

Specimens examined. (n = 5) [ South Korea] GW: 2♀, Bougmyong-ri, Dongsan-myon, Chunchon-gun, 23. v. 1992 (O. Tadauchi, ELKU) ; 2♀, Gamjong-ri, Dong-myon, Chunchon-gun, 25. iv. 1992 (O. Tadauchi, ELKU). GG: 1♀, Kwangung, 2. viii. 1998 (Y. Maeta, SULE).

Distribution. North Korea, South Korea (new record), Mongolia, Russian Far East, China, Japan.

Flight period in South Korea. Female: April to August. Males have not been recorded from South Korea. In Japan, males are collected from July to October (Murao 2014).
