Lentilactobacillus farraginis (far.ra’gi.nis. L. gen. n. farraginis of mash, referring to soshu mash as aningredient of the compost from which the type strain was isolated).

Basonym: Lactobacillus farraginis Endo and Okada 2007 , 711 VP

Growth is observedat 15 and 45°C and up topH 9.0 forsome strains [ 329]. The genome size of the type strain is 2.86 Mbp. The mol% G+C content of DNAis 42.1.

Isolated from isolated from a compost of distilled shochu residue.
