Serromyia mangrovi Delécolle & Braverman, 1987: 57 View in CoL (male, female, Egypt-Sinai); Boorman & van Harten 2002: 454 (male, female, Oman, Yemen).

Diagnosis. The only species with short 10th flagellomere in male antenna. Body pale yellow. Seminal capsules small, spherical.

Material examined. YEMEN. Al Mukalla, 01–02.2003, light trap, 1 male, 1 female, leg. A. van Harten; 12 km NW of Manakhah, 24.06– 04.08.2003, Malaise trap, 2 females, leg. A. van Harten (CEI UG). Distribution. Egypt, Oman, Yemen.
