: 5.0-6.5 mm. Black. Whitish are: mandibles (apices dark red), pronotum and pronotallobus, axilliary sclerite, two lateral spots on scutellum, metanotum, posterior margin of lateral parts of scutellum and metanotum, broad bands on tergites I-IV, tergite V and pygidial area (apical reddish). Tibiae whitish, inner part brown. Femora I and II black with broad whitish spots. Femor II black apical half reddish-brown with a small whitish spot. Scapus black anterior with a whitish stripe, flagellum reddish-brown. Tergites reddish brown proximal of the broad whitish bands. In some specimens sternites partly whitish. Frons with silver pubescense directed downwards. tergites posteriorly with distinct silver pubescence. Anterior margin of clypeus rounded with two lateral teeth. Mesonotum sparsely punctate and polished. Mesopleuron finely sparsely in some specimens densely punctate. Tergites densely punctate. Sternite II sparsely punctate and with microsculpture. Squama simple, hyalin. Mucro narrow parallel, hyalin inner part whitish and apical rounded. Foretarsal comb long, the apical spines of metatarsus distinctly longer than second segment.
This species is similiar to Oxybelus pulawskii TSUNEKI 1972 , but O. pulawskii differs in frons having silver pubescens directed laterally, polished mesopleuron, black scutellum and black scapus.
