Distribution: United States: AZ ( Rider & Chapin 1992), CA ( Rider & Chapin 1992). ( Mexico)
Comments: This species was not included in Froeschner (1988). Records of Thyanta casta from Arizona and
California should be referred to this species ( Rider & Chapin 1992). Rider & Chapin (1992) included this species in the subgenus Argosoma .
