Ascra bifida ( Say, 1832)

Distribution: United States: AR, FL, LA, MD, MS ( Richmond 1962), NC ( Brimley 1938), TX. ( Mexico, Central America, West Indies, South America)

Comments: This species is better known as Edessa bifida (and was listed as such in Froeschner 1988), but Santos et al. (2015) placed this species in the genus Ascra .
