This genus at present contains only the two species listed below. For many years, the next genus ( Apoecilus ) was considered to be a subgenus within this one, until Thomas (1992) elevated Apoecilus to full genus. These species were treated (along with the Apoecilus species ) in an unpublished dissertation ( Phillips 1983) and then later by Thomas (1992).
