Material examined. Station 13, 25 -vi-2013, 1 ♂1♀; station 17, 21 -v-2013, 2 ♂ 2♀; station 19, 21 -viii- 2013, 1 ♂1♀; station 32, 23 -v-2013, 1 ♂5♀; 04-ix-2013, 1♂ 1♀.
Comments. The specimens have been collected in both flowing and stagnant areas in muddy substrates up to 210 m asl. The first record for Tunisia is from Gadeau de Kerville (1908) in northern Tunisia (Tabarka, Jendouba).
Distribution. Widely distributed in Europe, Northern Africa, and Asia ( Jansson 1986; Jansson 1995; Carapezza 1997; Aukema et al. 2013).
