BRAZIL: São Paulo State, São Simão ; 3 December 2006; J. Rubens Lopes. Host: Unidentified species ( Theridiidae ), adult or subadult female. The wasp grasped the immobilized tangle-web spider by its spinnerets with her mandibles and held it venter to venter while standing on a leaf. All of the spider’s legs were amputated at the coxa-trochanter joints ( Fig. 3 View Figures 1–8 ; Rubens Lopes 2006).
