General distribution. Europe: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France (mainland, Corsica), Greece (mainland, Dodecanese, Crete), Hungary, Iberian Peninsula, Italy (mainland, Sicily, Sardinia), Macaronesia; North Africa: Libya, Tunisia; West Asia: Caucasus, Cyprus, Turkey (Minelli 1982).
Chorotype. Mediterranean.
Habitats. Maquis formations with Pistacia , Pinus , Acacia and Cupressus , phryganic formations,under Eucalyptus , Pinus forest, pastures.
Altitudinal range: 10–1340 m.
Range of leg pairs recorded in Cyprus. 61–63 (3) and 65–77 (ƤƤ).
