Mileewa triloba View in CoL sp. nov.

( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 )

Length. Body length of male: 3.1 mm; length of crown: 0.33 mm; length of pronotum: 0.43 mm; interocular width: 0.34 mm; crown width: 0.63 mm; pronotum width: 0.72 mm.

Coloration. Dorsum dark brown ( Fig. 1a View FIGURE 1 ). Crown blackish, with a median longitudinal yellow-brown stripe; ocelli ruby; eyes brown, with reddish brown on anterior angle and yellowish brown ventrally ( Figs 1a, 1b View FIGURE 1 ). Face offwhite ( Fig. 1c View FIGURE 1 ). Pronotum brown, with reddish patch on each side; mesonotum and scutellum brownish. Forewing brownish, with three hyaline pale patches distally ( Fig. 1d View FIGURE 1 ).

External features. Head narrower than pronotum; crown with anterior margin broadly rounded in dorsal view, median length almost equal to interocular width and shorter than length of pronotum; lateral frontal sutures extending onto crown and attaining ocelli; coronal suture one-third median length ( Figs 1a, 1b View FIGURE 1 ). Face with frontoclypeus slightly convex, anteclypeus distinctly elevated and truncate apically ( Fig. 1c View FIGURE 1 ). Forewing rounded distally, parallel sided ( Fig. 1d View FIGURE 1 ).

Male genitalia. Pygofer lobe in lateral view triangular with process arising at midlength of ventral margin tapered and evenly curved dorsad, almost attaining end of pygofer, apex pointed; dorsoposterior area and ventral angle with long or short fine setae. Anal tube extended to apex of pygofer ( Fig. 1f View FIGURE 1 ). Subgenital plates robust, curved dorsally; apices attaining posterior margin of pygofer; with irregular macrosetae at midlength and few shorter spinelike setae on inner margin; some short and long microsetae on outer margin ( Fig. 1g View FIGURE 1 ). Connective shield shaped, longer than wide with median anterior lobe short and broad. Style elongate, S-shaped, apex tapered, tip slightly emarginate; with several small setae on inner margin and two or three long microsetae on outer margin slightly distad of apex ( Fig. 1h View FIGURE 1 ). Aedeagus preatrium longer than dorsal apodeme, the latter broadened laterally; shaft laterally compressed, robust, arcuate, with a pair of ventral lamellate processes at base and a single ventromedial lamella at apex; gonopore apical ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 j–1l).

Etymology. The specific name refers to the three membranous lobes on the aedeagus ventrally.

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, China, Hainan Province, Diaoluo Mountain (784 m), 18 June 2019, coll. Yan Jiang ( GUGC).

Remarks. The new species is similar to Mileewa longistripa Yang & Li in having an S-shaped style but the latter species lacks color patterns on the crown; its pygofer process arises at the ventral angle and the basal processes of the aedeagus are tapered to a pointed apex.
