= Anthelia africana Steph. , Hedwigia 31: 121, 1892 ( Stephani 1892), syn. nov. Type :— SOUTH AFRICA. Transvaal : near Lydenburg , 1887, Wilms, Stephani herb. no. 3729 (lectotype [here designated] G-00045034!).
