Genus Bothropolys Wood, 1862

Type species: Bothropolys nobilis Wood, 1862 (by subsequent designation) ( Bonato et al. 2016).

Remark. The subgenus Bothropolys (Probothropolys) Verhoeff, 1907 , to which two of the three species here discussed have been quoted in literature, is disregarded by most authors ( Eason 1997).
