Terra typica: [ Kyrgyzstan, Jalal-Abad Region] Kirgizskaya SSR, Sary-Chelekskii Zapovendik [Sary-Chelek Nature Reserve—Kg16] ( Zalesskaja 1975).

Previous records. Uzbekistan: Tashkent Region—Khumsan [Uz3], Karzhan-Tau Mt. Range [Uz4], Ugam Mt. Range [Uz5] ( Zalesskaja 1975, 1978). Kyrgyzstan: Jalal-Abad Region—Sary-Chelek Nature Reserve [Kg16, Kg16a, Kg16b], uncertain localities—Tumanyak Valley [Kg29*] and Khodzha Area [Kg30*] ( Zalesskaja 1975, 1978; Eason 1997).

Habitat records. “Litter of fir and nut forest”, “in litter of relict nut forests on ca. 1500 m ” ( Zalesskaja 1978); deciduous woodland on 1200 m; forests on 1550–2200 m; open Juglans regia woodland on 1500 m; Juglans , Malus , Picea forests in river valleys on 1500–1800 m; unknown habitats on 1800–1950 m ( Eason 1997).

Remarks. Zalesskaja (1975) mentioned “Ugam and Karzhantau Mt. Ranges” as collecting sites of this species. Later, “Khumsan, Ugam Mt. Range” was mentioned by Zalesskaja (1978) without “Karzhantau Mt. Range”, which is located mostly in Kazakhstan. “Khumsan” is a village at the foothills of Ugam and Karzhantau Mt. Ranges in the Tashkent Region of Uzbekistan. Thus, the reference to Karzhantau Mt. Range in Zalesskaja (1975) can be related to the “Khumsan”. Because the Karzhantau Mt. Range was not mentioned on the latter paper ( Zalesskaja 1978), we formally do not include this species in the fauna of Kazakhstan.
