Comments. The world catalog of Keroplatidae ( Evenhuis 2006) lists Asindulum tenuipes as one of the two Nearctic species in the genus, but it should be removed from future Keroplatidae works. This species belongs to the family Blephariceridae ( Blepharicera tenuipes (Walker) as indicated by Hogue (1978, 1987) and Jacobson (2010).
