Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan ( Bunalski et al. 2023), Mazandaran ( Farashiani et al. 2022, as Microrhagus palmi (Olexa, 1963) currently considered as junior synonym of M. pygmaeus ).
General distribution. Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia (Central European Territory, North European Territory), Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland ( Muona 2007), Russia (South European Territory) ( Roubal 1912), Algeria, Austria, Ukraine ( Horion 1953), Spain ( Recalde Irurzun 2008), Syria ( Mertlik et al. 2009), Iran ( Farashiani et al. 2022).
