Flowering time: — December–March.
Habitat: — Stony slopes, wet places, scrub, 264– 280 m.
Distribution: — Euxine element. Turkey (North-esat Anatolia), Georgia ( Tison et al. 2013).
Note: — Gagea tenuissima is characterized by filiform and 2–4 times longer than plant basal leaves, opposite and curved cauline leaves, and 1–7 flowered, though having only one open flower at a time in the inflorescence, differently from other Gagea species.
