Description

Antennae in male bipectinate, tapered towards end, the longest ramus about 2.5 times diameter of flagellum. Frons dark green. Labial palpus green, brown at end, segment 3 in female elongate. Vertex yellow-green. Dorsal and ventral sides of thorax green.

Wing pattern. Length of forewing „ 27–28 mm; ♀ 28–32 mm. Wings dark green, transverse lines distinct. Outer margin of both wings smooth, and lacking tail process on hindwing. Forewing with apex falcate; antemedial line white, strongly crenellate. Postmedial line of both wings white, dentate, appearing as teeth on the veins, turning outwards near inner margin. Submarginal line composed of white spots between veins. Discal spot visible, dark green, dot-like. Fringes green basally and white terminally. Underside even green, streaks indistinct, discal spots visible.

Male genitalia ( Figures 2N View Figure 2 , 3N View Figure 3 ). Uncus sclerotized, triangular. Socii sclerotized, tapered. Gnathos developed, with median process large, solid, spinulose. Valva tapered (blunt in BMNH Geometridae slide No. 21874), costa straight. A spinose patch present at base of valve, with a pointed harpe located distally from it on a transverse sclerotized area. Saccus developed, long and narrow. Transtilla undeveloped. Juxta membranous. Aedeagus very slender, sclerotized posteriorly.

Sternite 3 without setal patches. Segment 8 ( Figure 5N View Figure 5 ) with tergite wide, sclerotized, with two small lateral processes, posterior margin irregularly sinuate; sternite small, sclerotized posteriorly, with a pair of sharp processes.

Female genitalia ( Figure 4N View Figure 4 ). Weakly sclerotized area present around ostium. Lamella postvaginalis lightly sclerotized, pocket-like. Ductus bursae very short, membranous, without antrum. Corpus bursae membranous, small, signum absent.
