circonscrit dans la partie orientaledes Alpes mari times (rochers calcaires dans l'etage alpin) atteint a peine, vers le S.W.,le le nord du massif de l'Aution. -S. cordifolia ALL. , egalement rupicole mais calcifuge,est assez repandu au S. du massifde l'Argentera, du Mt. Bego jusqu'au Tenibres (vallee de la Tinee).
