COMMENTS: Mathews cited his catalog number of the holotype in the original description and gave the range of samueli as ‘‘ South Australia.’’ The type bears White’s original label and Mathews and Rothschild type labels. Its locality must be close to the Barossa Range (Kaiser Stuhl-Pewsey Vale highlands) section of the central Mount Lofty Range (R. Schodde, personal commun.). Other South Australian specimens in Mathews’ hand at that time are paratypes.
