Etymology. The specific name is an adjective from the Latin word complicatus (folded), and refers to the copulatory ducts folded and twisted.

Diagnosis. This species can be separated from other congeneric members by the shapes of VTA, RTA and the complicated three tegular apophyses ( Figs 25 View FIGURE 25 B–D, 26A–B). Females can be distinguished by the copulatory ducts, which are twisted and folded.

Description. Female (holotype): Total length 8.20. Prosoma 2.30 long, 2.10 wide; opisthosoma 5.80 long, 1.35 wide. Carapace yellow with light brown scales. Ocular area blackish brown. Eye measurements: AME 0.10, ALE 0.22, PME 0.20, PLE 0.20, AME-AME 0.16; AME-ALE 0.12; PME-PME 0.21; PME-PLE 0.20. Eye row width measurement: I 0.34, II 0.60, III 1.00, IV 0.60. Clypeus height 0.40. Chelicera and sternum yellow, labium and endites light yellowish-brown. Legs slender, femora I–IV with 2 grayish black stripes ventrally, metatarsi usually curved, leg measurements: I 15.60 (4.10, 5.50, 4.50, 1.50); II 13.60 (3.70, 4.70, 4.00, 1.20); III 11.00 (3.20, 3.60, 3.20, 1.00); IV 14.00 (4.10, 4.50, 4.20, 1.20), leg formula: 1423. Opisthosoma dorsally grayish-yellow with a “V”-shaped grayish-black marking; laterally with grayish black stripes; ventrally with a wide grayish-black longitudinal marking mesally.

Epigynum ( Figs 24 View FIGURE 24 B–C, 26C–D). Posterior sclerotized edge raised, copulatory ducts twisted and folded, spermatheca covered partly by copulatory ducts.

Male (paratype, IZCAS-Ar. 19089): Total length 7.30. Prosoma 2.60 long, 2.20 wide; opisthosoma 4.70 long, 1.10 wide. Body color slightly darker than in female. Eye measurements: AME 0.10, ALE 0.18, PME 0.16, PLE 0.17, AME-AME 0.16; AME-ALE 0.08; PME-PME 0.22; PME-PLE 0.25. Eye row width measurement: I 0.33, II 0.52, III 0.94, IV 0.50. Clypeus height 0.40.
