Material examined ( CHINA: Yunnan, Xishuangbanna, Mengla County, Menglun Town, Menglun Nature Reserve, canopy fogging, leg. G. Zheng): 2 Ƥ, Secondary tropical montane evergreen broad-leaved forest (N21º57.784', E101º11.947', 895 m), 6 August 2007 (IZCAS-Ar. 18896, 18897); 1 Ƥ, Secondary tropical montane evergreen broad-leaved forest (N21º54.813', E101º12.634', 876 m), 5 August 2007 (IZCAS-Ar. 18898).
Identification. Our specimens have the similar body size and abdominal ventral patterns as the types. There are no obvious differences between the epigynes, so we treated them as the same species. For a diagnosis of this species, see Deeleman-Reinhold (2009: 691).
Description. Female (IZCAS-Ar. 18896): Total length 14.80. Prosoma 4.60 long, 3.80 wide; opisthosoma 10.00 long, 2.80 wide. Prosoma flat, carapace yellow with sparse grayish black scales. Fovea longitudinal, conspicuous. Head area slightly swollen. Chelicerae, endites and labium light brown, chelicera with 2 pro- (1 large, 1 small) and 1 small retromarginal teeth. Legs slender, leg I with black, longitudinal stripes prolaterally. Distal femora and tibiae black. Leg measurements: I: 20.60 (5.60, 7.20, 5.80, 2.00); II: 20.00 (5.60, 7.10, 5.50, 1.80); III: 18.80 (5.50, 6.50, 5.20, 1.60); IV: 19.30 (5.60, 6.50, 5.70, 1.50), leg formula: 1243. Opisthosoma long, anteriorly wider than posteriorly; dorsally grayish black with gray markings; laterally light yellow; ventrally with a long "V"- shaped grayish black marking.
Epigynum ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 B–C, 2A–B). Epigynum atrium apple-shaped, anteriorly swollen, with copulatory openings situated at the lateral edges; copulatory ducts thick, spermathecae globular.
Variation. Total length: Ƥ 12.20–14.80 (n=3, from China); 14.00–15.00, from Myanmar.

Distribution. China (newly recorded here for Yunnan), Myanmar.
