Recognition. Elytra with striae 1 — 7 distinctly punctate, in addition to the seriate punctures in striae 2, 5 and 7. Elytra strongly iridescent. Dimorphism + ♂ 1 — ♀ 2. Endophallus armed with at least one spine in Nearctic members.
